IPPDNU PROJECT

Initiative For Pro Poor Development in the Northern Uplands

Duration: 12/03/2006 - 31/12/2010

Budget: 18.6million euros

Partners: BCEOM - Team leader , GRET, VASS, CECEM

Donors: European Commission

Objectives: contribute to improve living conditions for poor households in Cao Bằng and Bắc Kạn to match with governmental strategies of poverty reduction and economic development (CPRGS).

 

 

DIALOGS PROJECT

Developing institution and local associations for organization and management of collective services

 

Duration: 2001-2005
Budget: 3,5 million Euro
Intervention area: 13 districts of 6 Northern area of Vietnam (Bắc Ninh, Bắc Kạn, Hải Dương, Phú Thọ, Thái Nguyên, Vĩnh Phúc)
Members of alliance : GRET, MdM, VECO, AFDI-HN
National partners: VASI, HMU (Hanoi medical University)
Donors: European Commission, French ministry of foreign affairs, NGOs belonging to the Alliance
Objectives: Improving services for rural people and possibility of cooperation in initial health care, agriculture and husbandry, through enforcing profesional organizations and local organizations towards stable and long term development.

 

 

Project of implementing development and poverty reduction strategies - CPRGS
Duration: 12 month (August 2004 - July 2005)
Budget: 80 000 Euro
Intervention area: Bắc Kạn province
Partners: Bắc Kạn province’s department of planning and investmen
Donors: French embassy to Vietnam within assistance to Development and poverty reduction strategies.
Objective: assisting Department of planning and investment and technical departmetns of Bắc Kạn province to combine recomendations of national strategies for the sake of CPRGS: ‘‘Country Poverty Reduction and Growth Strategy’’ and more generally, to help the locality in renewing planning process.
